Agriculture played 3 NYC shows (Bowery Ballroom & Rough Trade pics)
"Los Angeles black metallers Agriculture released one of our favorite albums of 2025 with their sophomore LP, The Spiritual Sound, in October, and they wrapped up the winter leg of their tour supporting it with a trio of NYC shows, headlining Bowery Ballroom on Friday (2/13) with support from Knoll, playing a matinee on Saturday afternoon (2/14) at Rough Trade, and heading to Baby's All Right on Saturday night, with Ekko Astral and Peace Through Strength (Jack Tobias and Zack Borzone of YHWH Nailgun)."
"I went to the Bowery show, where Agriculture sounded towering and majestic as they played most of The Spiritual Sound and a few older songs amidst pulsing strobes. They were locked in and had the crowd in the palm of their hands - including one person who was blowing bubbles - and the contrast of the clean-sung portions to the screaming was even more sublime and unearthly than on record. Knoll, with their dark and theatrical deathgrind, made for an excellent pairing."
Los Angeles black metallers Agriculture released their sophomore LP The Spiritual Sound in October 2025. The band concluded the winter leg of their supporting tour with three New York City shows: headlining Bowery Ballroom on February 13 with Knoll, a Rough Trade matinee on February 14, and a Baby's All Right late show on February 14 featuring Ekko Astral and Peace Through Strength. Live performances featured most of The Spiritual Sound alongside older material, pulsing strobe lighting, and a striking contrast between clean-sung passages and screams. Knoll contributed a dark, theatrical deathgrind complement. Agriculture will resume touring in April 2026 with U.S. and European dates.
