"It's about shifting people's perception of you within the workplace"
Briefly

Bringing personal interests into the workplace can strengthen relationships and build a positive reputation. Sharing experiences and opinions regularly fosters a sense of credibility and highlights one's unique perspective. Creating platforms, like bi-weekly email updates, helps colleagues connect and shift their perception of one's role. Engaging with managers about a hybrid role can open doors to leverage multiple skills, promoting a fulfilling career progression. It's important to consistently showcase talents and insights to maintain visibility and relevance in a collaborative environment.
There's a few things I'd suggest. How much of the music side of you are you bringing into your work on a day-to-day? For example, sharing some of the things that have happened for you within that space.
This not only built my reputation amongst others but also gave me a sense of credibility when it came to things like that.
I do think it's also about shifting people's perception of you within the workplace.
I think it might be worth considering that you are multi-experienced, and maybe you're also going into a new phase of building your career and you want to exercise those skills more.
