"Due to a continuing pattern of behaviour and the mental health difficulties of our singer Perry Farrell, we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to discontinue the current US tour, it read. Jane's Addiction have announced they are parting ways after 15 months marked by physical altercations, accusations and litigation. Members said they met one last time to resolve differences to preserve the group's legacy and will pursue separate musical and creative endeavors. Navarro, Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins said they unilaterally stopped the tour without notice to Farrell and regret making inaccurate statements about his mental health. Farrell apologised and accepted accountability for his actions.
