LA Reid settled a lawsuit by former Arista employee Drew Dixon on the day the civil trial was scheduled to begin. Dixon alleged Reid groped, kissed and digitally penetrated her without consent on two occasions and began harassing her soon after he started at Arista in 2000. Dixon said her career was derailed after she rejected his advances, with budgets slashed and proposed signings rejected. She quit in 2002 to attend Harvard Business School and said the harassment forced her to abandon work she loved. Reid denied the allegations and the settlement terms were not disclosed.
