Robby Krieger, at 79, performed a 2-hour-plus set at BottleRock Napa Valley 2025 with a band featuring drummer Ty Dennis, bassist Dan Rothchild, keyboardist Ed Roth and his son Waylon on vocals. Krieger wrote or co-wrote many of The Doors' most notable songs, including "Peace Frog," "Love Me Two Times," "Touch Me," "Love Her Madly" and "Light My Fire." Songwriting credits on Doors albums often appear under the band as a whole. Krieger and his band are celebrating The Doors' 60th anniversary with multi-month performances, including full album shows at the Whisky A Go-Go and a 60th anniversary concert Oct. 30 at the Greek Theatre. Krieger attended boarding school in Atherton, near where Jim Morrison once lived in Mountain View.
