Bob the Drag Queen, known for winning 'RuPaul's Drag Race' and starring in 'The Traitors', has achieved New York Times Bestseller status with her new novel 'Harriet Tubman: Live In Concert'. The book reimagines the abolitionist Harriet Tubman in the modern era involving a hip hop album, conveying themes of activism and creativity. Bob reflected on her long 5-year writing journey and expressed gratitude towards her fans and supporters, dedicating the work to her late mother.
Y'all I'm literally sobbing right now. It took 5 long years to make it here. When I started this journey I didn't even have this goal in mind. I just wanted to write the kind of book that I would want to read. I've always wanted to create the kind of art that I would want to consume and I hoped that there would be people who think like me.
Thank you to everyone who got the book and everyone who posted about it. Thank you to everybody on the Sibling Rivalry Patreon for your early support and feedback.
