Sean 'Diddy' Combs is currently in federal custody at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) while facing serious charges, including sex trafficking. Recently, disturbing allegations have emerged regarding the food quality at the facility, with suggestions that inmates are being served meals infested with maggots. Although MDC has denied these claims, attorneys representing the inmates stated this presents a significant sanitation issue, posing health risks. They also highlighted a concerning pattern of inadequate food quality, leading to inmates seeking to avoid infested items.
MDC assured us almost a year ago that it had thrown out all the infested food, including beans. This photo shows there is once again a serious sanitation issue that threatens the health of our clients.
Our clients are forced to eat on the margins - the white bread, the rice, food you can check to avoid bugs and vermin. The humane standard inside is a pipe dream.
