Early Sunday, three individuals were shot outside the Amadeus Nightclub in Queens while sitting in a Rolls Royce. Two women and a man sustained various injuries; one woman required urgent care for a chest wound. All three were transported to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition. There have been no arrests, and the motive for the shooting is still under investigation. This incident follows a history of violence at the nightclub, including a prior shooting resulting in death and injury earlier this year.
The victims - two women, both 23, and a man, 24 - were inside the flashy luxury car with Illinois plates in front of the Amadeus Nightclub when someone started shooting.
One of the women was shot in her chest and rushed in a marked NYPD vehicle to the Elmhurst Hospital Center, where she was listed in stable condition.
The nightclub is no stranger to violence. In January 2023, a 19-year-old man was killed and a 31-year-old woman wounded when bullets flew outside the hot spot.
No arrests had been made by Monday, and the motive for the violence remains under investigation.
