Justin Peck and Patricia Delgado, both renowned dancer-choreographers, moved to a new apartment on Manhattan's Upper West Side just before the pandemic lockdown. Initially lacking a clear decorating plan, they gradually discovered a shared appreciation for vibrant colors and meaningful furnishings, reflecting their backgrounds from San Diego and Miami. Their home flourished with greenery, showcasing their commitment to a peaceful and inspired space, tended to weekly with their daughter Lucia. Their furnishings blend their individual items with shared pieces, symbolizing their journey together as a couple.
We started to notice that we were attracted to vibrant colors and patterns, wanting to make our home feel peaceful but, at the same time, very inspired.
Our goal was to fill our space with furnishings and objects that connect to our personal and professional histories, as both of us are from sunny places.
Every Sunday, we go from room to room diligently tending to the watering of our plants, creating a little green oasis for our daughter.
The combination of our items—a blend of her Morroccan pouffe and my New York accent pieces—really reflects our journey and life together.
