Starting March 1, 2025, Illuminate and the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department will launch the fifth season of free live music at the Golden Gate Bandshell. The season will feature over 125 performances, predominantly by women-fronted bands, and run until mid-November. Following the success of past seasons with over 600 shows and nearly 1 million attendees at the Bandshell, the 2025 season aims to continue celebrating diverse musical talents in San Francisco's iconic Golden Gate Park, marking the Bandshell's rich history and cultural significance.
This 2025 season will showcase over 125 free concerts at the historic Golden Gate Bandshell, starting with women-fronted bands on March 1.
The Bandshell has hosted more than 600 free shows in its Illuminate LIVE series, attracting nearly 1 million music lovers to Golden Gate Park.
