Sonic Temple 2026 returned to Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, with record-breaking attendance and near-perfect spring weather at the start. More than 35 bands performed across multiple stages, creating frequent conflicts that forced fans to choose between overlapping sets. Nekrogoblikon opened with high-energy, goblin-masked theatrics. Hawthorne Heights brought Ohio pride to the Temple Stage, culminating in “Ohio Is for Lovers.” The Alter Stage became the heaviest hub, featuring punishing sets from Suffocation and Cattle Decapitation and a theatrically elevated performance from Fleshgod Apocalypse with operatic vocals. Fozzy, led by Chris Jericho, leaned into arena-rock showmanship with “Judas” and “Crazy Train.” L.S. Dunes delivered a tight set anchored by Anthony Green and Frank Ier.
