The Uptown Night Market in Harlem has transitioned from a monthly event to a weekly celebration every Thursday, held at 12th Avenue and West 131st Street. The market, which features over 40 local vendors including POC, immigrant, and women-owned businesses, offers a diverse range of food and crafts. With support from local organizations, the initiative aims to highlight Harlem’s vibrant culture and community spirit, evolving into a regular space for residents to connect, enjoy culinary delights, and experience live performances, marking Thursdays as a special day for the neighborhood.
Thursdays are now our day. Harlem owns it. The Uptown Night Market will now run weekly every Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m. at 12th Avenue and West 131st Street.
Each week, 40+ local vendors, including POC, immigrant, and women-owned food and retail businesses, will sell delicious plates ranging from birria tacos to Caribbean plates.
