Matthew Rodriguez, 18, was extradited to New York after fleeing to Pennsylvania following a shooting on April 1. He was arrested on April 3. Rodriguez is accused of driving a scooter with accomplice Amuri Greene, who allegedly fired the fatal shot that struck 7-month-old Patterson-Moore in the head. Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch suggested the incident may be gang-related. Rodriguez was held at Brooklyn's 90th Precinct and confronted by reporters, claiming he did not know the shooting would occur.
