Brooklyn laundromat worker stabbed to death in front of his son, NYPD and coworker say
Briefly

A tragic incident occurred Sunday night at Laundry King in Brooklyn, where 54-year-old Walid Noureldin was fatally stabbed in front of his son during an argument. The police responded to a 911 call about the assault, revealing Noureldin had sustained severe stab wounds, while his son suffered a slash to his forehead. Witnesses reported the altercation began outside but escalated inside the laundromat. Noureldin was a delivery driver known in the neighborhood, and despite his son's stable condition, the father did not survive the incident.
Fellow Laundry King worker Shokh Khan said the men were inside fighting with a customer when the stabbing occurred. "I was outside, I heard the screams," Khan said, adding that he called 911 but was not sure what the group was arguing about.
Emergency medical workers took Noureldin and his son to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where Noureldin was pronounced dead and his son was in stable condition.
