A disturbing hit-and-run incident occurred on the Lower East Side, where a driver of a dark-colored sedan intentionally struck a 29-year-old pedestrian following a fistfight. The assault happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 2, at East 4th Street and Avenue D. After the altercation, the suspect made a U-turn and collided with the victim before fleeing the scene. The injured pedestrian was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is expected to recover. As of now, no arrests have been made, and police are investigating the case.
