According to the New York Post, a cold front will move into the New York region on Thursday, causing temperatures to drop to the mid-to-low 80s just ahead of the weekend.
Both Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Eric Adams have been warning New Yorkers about the various heat waves and urging them to use cooling centers and consider applying for free air conditioning units.
