'NYPD Blue' star Kim Delaney won't be charged for felony assault after allegedly trying to run over her husband
Briefly

Kim Delaney, known for her role in "NYPD Blue," will not be charged following an incident where she allegedly attempted to run over her husband, James Morgan. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office cited insufficient evidence for their decision. Morgan, who faced a misdemeanor domestic violence charge, will also not be prosecuted. Despite the domestic disturbance report filed by Delaney, who had previously shared affectionate posts about her husband, both parties were arrested but are now free from charges.
A representative from the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office confirmed to The Post on Tuesday that they have decided not to move forward with the charge of assault likely to produce gross bodily injury - a felony - "due to insufficient evidence."
Morgan, who was also arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence, will not be charged either.
The actress starred in "NYPD Blue" from 1995 to 2003 - but that wasn't her only acting gig. Delaney also appeared on several TV series, including "The O.C.," "Army Wives," "All My Children," and "Chicago Fire."
Just two weeks before her arrest, the star shared a loved-up photo with her husband, captioned "Pure love."
