The suspect, Terrell Coley, 35, is accused of pushing the senior and a 30-year-old man onto the R and W train tracks at the Whitehall Street station around 10:30 p.m.
Both victims were injured but still able to climb back up onto the platform on their own before the next train came into the station, authorities said.
