Welcome to Boyfriend Co-op, Brooklyn's New Queer Coffee Shop and Cocktail Bar
Briefly

Boyfriend Co-op is a new coffee and cocktail cooperative located in Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood, founded by queer women focusing on ethical and sustainable practices. Designed to foster a supportive community, it hosts various events like poetry readings and workshops addressing social issues. Co-founders aim to create a space that reflects their needs and fosters education and resource-sharing during challenging times. Surrounded by thrifted decor, Boyfriend emphasizes local ingredients in its offerings, emphasizing community values and cooperative ownership over traditional business models.
Boyfriend was born from our shared desire to have the space we wish we had. This is obviously a really scary time to be in this country.
Co-founders Hena Mustafa, Mica Fisher, Nat Risk and Kacey Liebes are part of a growing renaissance of queer women creating spaces that center other queer women.
