Stephon Castle contributed 14 points and 14 assists and eight Spurs reached double figures. Trey Murphy III led the Pelicans with 41 points on 15-for-22 shooting despite New Orleans missing Zion Williamson, Jordan Poole and Yves Missi. San Antonio held the Pelicans to a season-low 22 points in the first quarter and never trailed. Fox overcame recent left pinky tendon surgery and an offseason right hamstring injury ahead of the game.
