The San Francisco 49ers were fined $100,000 for an inactive player’s involvement in a sideline scuffle during last Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Cornerback Charvarius Ward engaged Arizona's Trey McBride, causing Dre Greenlaw, a physically unable to perform list player, to interfere by shoving McBride away.
While neither player was penalized during the game, they, along with McBride, were fined post-game for their actions, highlighting the NFL's strict enforcement of sideline conduct.
The fines issued included $9,545 for McBride, $11,255 for Ward, and $14,069 for Greenlaw, with the 49ers facing additional organizational penalties.
