Houston Texans enter 2025 as even-money favorites to win a third straight AFC South title. The Jacksonville Jaguars are listed at +300 after a 4–13 season and the addition of two-way playmaker Travis Hunter. The Indianapolis Colts sit at +350. The Tennessee Titans have +750 odds and are coming off a three-win season, with rookie quarterback Cam Ward among Rookie of the Year favorites. Recommended season bets include Colts OVER 7.5 wins based on a deep receiving corps, Jonathan Taylor, a strong offensive line and DeForest Buckner anchoring the defense, and Jaguars UNDER 7.5 wins due to defensive struggles and quarterback regression.
The defense ranked 28th in efficiency last season, Trevor Lawrence has plummeted in nearly every key metric and the offense is built on "ifs" ... if new HC Liam Coen fixes TLaw, if the line jells, if the weapons develop. Even with the sixth-easiest projected schedule, this looks more like a rebuild in real time than a win-now roster. But until Lawrence plays like a $55M quarterback, eight wins feels like too much to ask.
The Colts have a solid arsenal of pass catchers, including Michael Pittman Jr., Josh Downs, Alec Pierce and rookie tight end Tyler Warren, giving them plenty of offensive playmakers to help Daniel Jones succeed. And don't forget about running back Jonathan Taylor and his big-play ability. With offensive tackle Bernhard Raimann anchoring a very good offensive line and DeForest Buckner leading a stout defensive front, the pieces are in the place.
