Odafe Oweh, a 6-foot-5, 265-pound outside linebacker, was traded from Baltimore to the Los Angeles Chargers along with a 2027 draft pick for safety Alohi Gilman and a 2026 pick. Oweh posted career highs last season with 10 sacks, nine tackles for loss and 23 quarterback hits but did not receive a contract extension. He enters the Chargers rotation with Khalil Mack on injured reserve and ranks 42nd in the NFL with 12 pressures. Coaching staff cite his pressure rate and pass-rush ability as reasons for optimism while Oweh seeks to convert increased playing time into consistent production.
