Dolphins CB Storm Duck exits early with ankle injury in opener vs. Colts
"The Dolphins' second-year starting cornerback was involved on a tackle of Colts tight end Tyler Warren, along with linebacker Jordyn Brooks, and had the body weight of both players on his left leg as his foot was pinned against the turf at Lucas Oil Stadium. Duck spent minutes on the ground with his leg in an awkward position as trainers attended to him. He eventually got up and walked gingerly to the sideline to receive further medical attention at the team's injury tent."
"Afterward, he was taken into the locker room on a cart. Duck first made the Dolphins' active roster as an undrafted rookie in 2024 who received rotational playing time sporadically throughout that season and starting three games. As Miami has a completely revamped starting secondary in 2025, he was to be counted on as a top cornerback. He started opposite Jack Jones on Sunday."
