Online jail records in Fort Bend County list the arrest and a county spokesperson said Peterson would spend the night in jail before meeting a judge and posting bail. Peterson was previously arrested in April on a fourth-degree driving while impaired charge after being clocked at 83 mph in a 55 mph zone. Peterson, 40, has faced incidents including domestic violence, child abuse and financial issues. He compiled 14,918 rushing yards in a 15-season NFL career.
