Scheduled for re-evaluation, NFL administrators plan to merge coaching and front office development to enhance effectiveness. Dasha Smith, NFL's chief administrative officer, emphasized the significance of diversity in fostering success. The program is set to return in May 2026, allowing time for stakeholder feedback and improvements based on the success of past events.
We believe diversity of thought and background is essential to our success, and it's reflected in the policies, programs, and partnerships that help us attract, develop, and retain top talent at every level on and off the field. This year, we assessed and identified additional opportunities with the Accelerator -- including combining the coaching and front office programs to ensure the Accelerator continues to be as impactful as possible.
We are committed to creating more impactful programs and partnerships to enhance diversity, which includes reimagining the Accelerator to better serve diverse candidates in coaching and front office roles.
