"It could be eight to 12 weeks,"
"It seems like that. We know it is a significant amount of time, but that'd be his decision on how he wants to go about that, and I know he'll make the right decision for himself."
"You still have a deep roster, right?"
Braelon Allen suffered a sprained MCL while returning a kickoff in the 27-21 loss to the Dolphins and is expected to miss eight to 12 weeks. Surgery is not required if Allen chooses rehab, and the decision about surgery will be made by Allen and his agent, Joe Panos. Under the timeline Allen could return as soon as Nov. 30 or as late as Dec. 28. Allen had been the No. 2 back behind Breece Hall with 18 carries for 76 yards and one touchdown. The Jets promoted Isaiah Davis and signed Khalil Herbert to bolster the running back depth.
