Washington Commanders defensive tackle Jonathan Allen, who faced a season-ending injury, remains optimistic about a return in 2024, according to sources familiar with the situation.
The surgery revealed that Allen's muscle was only partially torn, allowing for the possibility of a late-season return, though no timeline is confirmed.
