Will Jason Kelce Get a Vasectomy? Here's What He Said
"I wanted three kids early on. I always felt like Travis (Kelce) and I always wanted one more sibling," he said on the Sept. 2 episode of the "Bussin' With the Boys" podcast. Jason's wife Kylie Kelce, however, wanted five kids. "We're at four now and I think ... we'll see. That might be it," he said. Joking about the possibility of getting a vasectomy, Kelce said, "We've been bringing up the 'v-word' more than ever, so we'll see if it happens.""
"There's less a question of if he'll have a vasectomy, but when. "Once we're done (having kids) for sure, I'm definitely getting it done. I think we're still kind of in that, 'Are we done, or are we figuring it out?'" he said. The girl dad emphatically said that he and his wife are not trying to have a son."
Former NFL player Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie are parents to four daughters under six years old: Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett (Benny) and Finn. Jason originally wanted three children while Kylie wanted five, and the couple remains undecided about adding more. Jason said they have been bringing up the possibility of a vasectomy and that he will get one once they are certain they are done having children. Jason emphasized they are not trying for a son and called the family blessed to have four healthy, smart, charismatic children. Jason described becoming softer as a father, admitting his two-year-old Benny's charisma gives her outsized influence, and that he savors snuggling with her while the phase lasts.
