Jose Bencosme, a Bronx resident, was arrested after attacking two EMTs responding to a 911 call for medical assistance. The incident occurred at 1889 Sedgwick Ave. around 10 p.m. on Thursday. Bencosme punched the EMTs, resulting in serious injuries, including a deep head laceration for one responder and facial injuries for the other.
