Two men approached a 14-year-old inside an apartment at 877 Taylor Ave. in the Monroe Houses and engaged him in a verbal argument shortly before 6:34 p.m. on Oct. 11. During the dispute, one of the men produced a gun and shot the boy in the right leg. The suspects fled into a Mercedes-Benz SUV with a New York license plate and drove northbound on Taylor Avenue. EMS transported the wounded teenager to Jacobi Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. Police released images and video of the suspects and describe them as males with medium complexions wearing black face masks and dark clothing.
