According to law enforcement sources, the victim, a 35-year-old man, became embroiled in a verbal dispute with the suspect."

Cops said the beef turned bloody when the perpetrator pulled out a sharp instrument and repeatedly slashed the victim about the body, leaving him wounded multiple times. Following the assault, police reported, the suspect fled the scene on foot northbound along 3rd Avenue. The incident was reported to the 40th Precinct. EMS rushed the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition."
