Dmitriy Popov, now 20, who is on trial for murder as a hate crime for the July 29, 2023, killing of O'Shae Sibley, took the stand in his own defense Wednesday. He told the Brooklyn Supreme Court jury he stabbed the professional dancer in the heart because he was scared and overwhelmed by the ugly confrontation one of his pals started. When Senior Assistant District Attorney Sarah Jafari confronted him with his alleged own words - that he called the victim and his friends "f-ing f--ts" and used the N-word, he denied it.

Six teenagers and a 20-year-old man have been arrested after a stabbing in Flemingdon Park on Sunday, police said. They said the victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Toronto police said in a news released Wednesday that the suspects got into a fight with the victim and their friends early on Sunday.

Alamara Djabi was stabbed and had surgery for life-threatening injuries. He underwent two surgeries and is now in a stable condition after being woken from an induced coma.

The stabbing occurred just before 10 a.m. on April 11 on the 4/5/6 line, within the confines of NYPD Transit District 4.

The LAPD is asking for the public's help in finding Adam Courtney Brown, who allegedly stabbed his parents in Woodland Hills, leaving them with life-threatening injuries.
