"NEW YORK - A driver was taken into custody Wednesday night after ramming a car into the doors of a synagogue in Brooklyn, according to police and video of the incident. Officers responded around 8:45 p.m. to the 700 block of Eastern Parkway, where they found a gray Honda sedan that had collided with the doors of the headquarters of Chabad Lubavitch, police said."
"Yaacov Behrman, who handles public relations for Chabad Lubavitch, confirmed in a post on X that there were no injuries and shared photos and video of the scene. In the video, the car appears to strike the doors repeatedly, causing one door to fall in completely. The synagogue was evacuated as a precaution, Behrman said. The investigation is ongoing, according to police."
