Man accused of Co Meath murder said he caught partner in bed with someone else and stabbed her, trial hears

Daniel Blanaru, accused of murdering Larisa Serban, allegedly confessed to his brother over the phone about the act. Witness Adriana Kovaciu heard him claim he caught Serban with someone else in bed and then stabbed her. The event reportedly took place in the early hours, prompting Kovaciu and her husband to hurry to the couple's residence after overhearing the concerning conversation. The accused, Daniel Blanaru, allegedly stated he 'caught her in bed with someone else' and, in a fit of rage, 'stabbed her,' as overheard by witnesses.

Adriana Kovaciu testified that she overheard Blanaru’s admission of the murder during a 4 am phone call, compelling them to rush to the crime scene.
