"UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - A man walking on the Upper West Side was attacked by a stranger wielding a baseball bat, police said. The 24-year-old victim was walking near West End Avenue and West 107th Street around 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 21, when a man struck him multiple times in the face with a baseball bat before fleeing west toward Riverside Park, police said."
"The attacker is described as a slim, light-complexioned man, about 5-foot-8, wearing all black and carrying a black baseball bat. Police have since released surveillance images of the suspect and are asking the public for help in identifying and locating him. On Dec. 21 at about 10:30 p.m., a 24-year-old man walking near West End Avenue and West 107th Street on the Upper West Side was struck multiple times in the face with a baseball bat and left for a fleeing attacker. EMS transported the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside, where the victim was listed in stable condition. The attacker is described as a slim, light-complexioned man about 5-foot-8, wearing all black and carrying a black baseball bat.
