He boarded at Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street around 8 a.m. when a stranger approached and began arguing en route to Queens Plaza station in Long Island City. The argument escalated and the stranger punched the victim multiple times in the face, causing lacerations and swelling to his eye. First responders arrived quickly and treated the victim at the scene. The suspect, last seen wearing a black hat, dark jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes, remained on the train until Lexington Ave.-53rd St., where he fled. Authorities request that anyone with information call the NYPD Crime Stoppers numbers provided.
