Mystery death of soldier in river with rope around body was accident, inquest finds

The coroner concluded that Sapper Charlie Saywell, 25, died as a result of an accident after drinking heavily and falling into the River Medway.
The inquest revealed Mr Saywell may have attempted to use a rope for safety but tragically succumbed to injuries sustained during a fall into the river.
