Puglia, recognized by the 'New York Times' as a top destination in 2019, is set to enhance its appeal with new nonstop flights from New York City. The flights by Neos airline will connect Bari to JFK and operate from June to October. This offering not only facilitates travel but symbolizes a cultural connection, according to Michele Emiliano, the region's president. Known for its excellent food, wine, and historic sites, Puglia is often overshadowed by Italy's more famous cities. The new route utilizes Boeing 787-9s, ensuring a comfortable travel experience for visitors.
"New York-Bari is much more than an air link," said Michele Emiliano, president of the Puglia region, in an official statement. "It is an embrace between Puglia and the world, a bridge that unites traditions, affection, heritage and opportunity, especially as many Americans are proud of their families' roots in Puglia."
Puglia, the beautiful region in the south of Italy that forms the heel of the country's famous 'boot,' is finally getting the attention it deserves: Neos airline announced nonstop flights to New York.
