
"A man who just exited a Manhattan train station was slashed in the face Monday morning in an unprovoked attack. The 27-year-old man stepped out of the East Broadway train station and was in front of a building near Canal and Essex sts. on the Lower East Side around 7:41 a.m. when he was slashed in the face, cops said."
"The man, wearing a blue jacket, was believed to be in the age range of 20-30 took off on foot after the brazen attack, police sources said. EMS transported the victim to New York Presbyterian Hospital where he was in stable condition. There were no arrests in the incident as cops are still searching for the slasher. Anyone with information about what happened is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS."
