"We were really familiar with them. We had played Syracuse my junior year in Kentucky, and in my sophomore year we went to the Final Four. That experience helped us develop a gameplan where we knew we had to contain the rest of the team and let John get his points because he was going to score regardless. That really helped us secure the victory in the championship game."
