PILA has unveiled a project for a new university building at Anatolia College in Thessaloniki, Greece. This 2,300-square-meter structure prioritizes adaptability, daylight, and a strong connection to the landscape, reshaping student learning experiences. Incorporating transparent edges and landscaped areas, the building encourages movement and interaction. With features like vertical rotating panels for light filtering, it creates dynamic spaces throughout the day. This initiative forms part of a larger masterplan, integrating into the academic quad alongside three other buildings, aiming to establish a community-centered, flexible educational hub for future generations by 2027.
PILA emphasizes designing the new building at Anatolia College to create an open, flexible, and innovative learning environment that integrates seamlessly with the campus landscape.
Dr. Panos Vlachos highlights the transformative commitment of Anatolia College to private tertiary education, anticipating significant investment and a bold vision for the future.
