Survey: What Online College Students Need
Briefly

The Inside Higher Ed's 2025 survey of campus technology officers reveals that demand for online and hybrid courses is on the rise, as evidenced by half of CTOs reporting increased student interest. Many institutions are responding by expanding their offerings. Notably, online degree programs are gaining enrollment surpassing that of on-campus methods. Furthermore, the Educause 2025 Students and Technology Report highlights general student appreciation for flexible learning formats, especially among older learners. The findings emphasize a transformative shift in higher education driven by evolving student preferences since the pandemic.
