Google Ads Real-Time Policy Reviews
Real-Time Policy Reviews are being rolled out in Google Ads for Responsive Search Ads, with additional campaign types planned later. During ad creation, headlines and descriptions receive instant per-field checks for editorial issues such as typos and capitalization problems before saving. After saving, an immediate policy decision is returned. Ads with no issues are approved and ready to serve immediately. Ads with policy issues trigger notifications through a new post-save policy page. The feature integrates review into the creative workflow to bypass traditional wait times. Review times that previously exceeded an hour are now typically handled in real time. Support currently covers text assets in Responsive Search Ads across the Google Ads UI and Google Ads Editor, with expansion expected for Performance Max and Demand Gen in the second half of 2026.
