Nine Months: Running While Pregnant
""Even when your competitive ceiling is lower, it is still fun to push hard within your means. It is edifying, and I love it.""
""I felt slow many days, mixed with periods of relatively normal training... all of my running is slow and casual. That is fine.""
During Thanksgiving, I participated in a turkey trot while 20 weeks pregnant, aiming to enjoy the experience rather than compete. However, the atmosphere energized me, leading to a strong finish and deepened appreciation for the sport.
