The couple also repainted the panther from silver to black to better suit their home's decor. Despite the project costing around $490, they felt it was worthwhile due to the table's rare and personalized aesthetic, enhancing their living space with a distinctive art piece.
"We got rid of the original glass and made a template for a new glass top. We gave those measurements to a glazier, and they cut new glass for us with holes so we could safely screw the glass into the top of the panther."
