Pair of police horses attacked and injured by dog

Police horses Snaffles and Yvonne were attacked by a dog while on patrol in Shepherd's Bush Green, west London. The incident occurred around 11:30 BST, with the dog attempting to bite the horses' legs as its owner failed to regain control. Fortunately, members of the public intervened, allowing the horses to return to their stables with minor injuries. The dog was seized and later returned to its owner. The Metropolitan Police are currently investigating the event and seeking witnesses to assist in their inquiry.
