Taking inspiration from a tradition started in 2007 in Ithaca, New York, Porchfests have now spread to multiple cities, including Chicago.
This year's festival invites everyone to enjoy a diverse array of performances, occurring within a compact area to make it easily accessible for all attendees.
While the main event happens Saturday, a pre-party with the Porchfest House Band will kick off the festivities on Friday evening.
