A nationally recognized forensic firm was employed to investigate the data breach at LACDMH, which revealed that emails and attachments containing sensitive client information, such as dates of birth, addresses, and phone numbers, may have been accessed.
LACDMH could not confirm if any information was actually compromised but reached out to affected individuals by mail, ensuring they would contact everyone impacted.
