Election ad views for Democrats and Republicans
Briefly

To quantify the ad battle's outcomes, we analyzed 3.7 million political ad airings, combining this data with viewership estimates. The analysis showcased how many households were exposed to the ads, allowing for a clear comparison between the two parties’ strategies during the crucial final months leading up to the election. Our findings indicate not only the sheer volume of ads aired but also how effectively they managed to reach voters across the nation.
The data revealed that while both parties spent heavily on ads, the distribution and targeting varied significantly, leading to different levels of reach and influence. This disparity in ad views allowed us to draw conclusions on which party effectively capitalized on its resources, thus providing insights into their overall strategy and potential voter engagement leading into the election.
